Claude reports 6 components on its status page, including claude.ai, Claude Console (platform.claude.com), Claude API (api.anthropic.com), Claude Code, Claude Cowork. Each is checked again whenever this page refreshes.
Retry with exponential backoff, fall back to another model or provider if your product allows it, and avoid hammering the API while it recovers.
That's normal during a partial incident: status.claude.com lists claude.ai, the Claude Console, the Claude API and Claude Code as separate components.
Not always — Claude Code has its own component row. Check the API row separately before assuming your api.anthropic.com integration is affected.
