Domain expiration monitoring
When a domain lapses, its website, email and APIs go with it. Get a reminder while you still have time to renew.
What each check does
- Looks up the registered domain in its registry over RDAP and reads the expiry date.
- Runs once a day by default, and no more often than once an hour.
When it alerts
- Alerts when the expiry date is closer than your warning, 30 days by default and anywhere from 1 to 365.
- A registry that returns no dates is shown as unknown, never as healthy.

Questions
My registrar auto-renews. Why monitor?
Auto-renew fails on an expired card, a closed account or an email nobody reads. The registry's date is the one that counts, and that is the one this monitor reads.
Which domains are supported?
Any top-level domain whose registry publishes RDAP, which covers all generic TLDs such as .com, .net and .org and many country domains. When a registry has no RDAP, the result is unknown.

常见问题
注册商会自动续费，为什么还要监控？
信用卡过期、账户被关闭、通知邮件没人看，都会让自动续费失败。真正起作用的是注册局的日期，而这个监控读取的就是它。
支持哪些域名？
注册局提供 RDAP 的顶级域名都支持，包括 .com、.net、.org 等所有通用顶级域名和很多国家域名。注册局不提供 RDAP 时，结果为未知。
